Census Bureau Sheds Light on Insurance Statistics
The Census Bureau has recently released an unprecidented study of insurance rates across the country by state. Done in an effort to develop prevention strategies and outreach programs for people particularly vulnerable, it was also very enlightening on the differences in insurance trends among the various states. The findings will be used to further develop cancer screenings and other low/no cost services for high need areas and is partially funded by the Center for Disease Control. Are studies such as these beneficial for determining how to allocate resources and where to focus outreach and education programs?
