Clinton Works to Take Charge in Health Care Reform

While denied the opportunity to lead the country herself, Senator Hillary Clinton has not given up the idea of leading the crusade to reform America’s broken health care system. She has already been knocked down once by two others Senators who had already laid claim on that territory. However, as Obama continues to consider her as a possible Cabinet member, one of those two Senators, giants among the group, has decided to appoint her as the head of a special task force focused on health care. Senator Edward Kennedy has named her as the head of a committee working group aimed at delivering health insurance reform. Kennedy, who is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer, is hopeful that these efforts, under Obama’s administration, will deliver the reform that the new president promised during his campaign. How effective do you think Clinton will be in working to bring about these changes?
