Iowans Support the Idea of Universal Health Insurance
A recent poll conducted in Des Moines, Iowa shows that the majority of citizens in the state support the idea of a universal health insurance system. The Des Moine Register conducted a poll at the end of March which found that 56% of citizens were in favor of a universal type plan, 37% oppose it, and the other 7% are unsure. Suprisingly though, 80% of people polled said they felt well covered by their current insurance plan, and did not support any majors changes to it. Why is it that so many people are in favor of a major change, if they are generally satisified with their coverage? Share your thought at our Health Insurance Forum
