Obama Should Begin Reform Now
Experts are looking at the time frame by which Obama should begin implementing his health care reforms. Obama’s plan is not only to increase spending to stimulate the economy, but to put plans in place to help it recover financially once the economy has returned. Many are pointing to the importance of health care reform for accomplishing that task. Rising health care costs are affecting businesses’ bottom lines, driving people to bankruptcy, and generally having a negative impact on the economy. By improving the system now, even if it means spending large amounts of federal dollars, it would aid in the current recovery as well as preventing future deficits which could lead to another recession in the future.
