Oklahoma Employs Task Force
A new legislative task force in Oklahoma has been saddled with the goal of increasing the number of insured citizens, encouraging wellness and prevention, and improving the quality of the health care system. The dismal state of Oklahoma’s healthcare system inspired a number of hearings which worked on ideas of how to solve these problems. Having the highest number of uninsured citizens per capita means that something needs to change. Sources of the problem have been uncovered as a deficit in the number of health care workers and generally quality health care and poor access to it. Do you think the task force will have any success in working to solve these problems?
