Reform Needn’t Break the Bank
Experts are saying that the goal of getting the nearly 50 million uninsured Americans covered under health insurance doesn’t necessarily have to be a financially prohibitive task. If plans presented by Obama and his aids suceed in reducing inefficiency and administrative waste, than getting everyone covered in an affordable fashion is possible. However, experts are saying that this can only occur if people are required to have a health insurance policy, much the same as people are required to have car and home insurance. Do you think this type of mandate will ever come to pass? Why are Americans so resistant of it, and why has the government been reluctant to impose it?
